Daniel Luo, RPh, PharmD

Daniel Luo is a pharmacist at UPGUYS, registered with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. He has practised as a pharmacist since 2023.

Daniel began his career in community pharmacy in Manitoba, working across the full prescription workflow, including clinical assessment, verification, medication counselling, and device teaching, and delivering provincially funded smoking cessation and immunization programs. He moved to British Columbia in 2024 and has practised across a wide range of community pharmacy settings throughout the province, including rural communities.

He is certified in British Columbia under the Pharmacist Prescribing for Minor Ailments and Contraception framework, and in opioid agonist treatment through OAT-CAMPP. He is separately certified in drug administration by injection and intranasal route. His practice has centred on comprehensive medication reviews, prescription adaptations, and resolving drug therapy problems.

He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Manitoba, where he received the Dr. D. McDougall Memorial Scholarship and the Mrs. Ethel Roberts Memorial Prize.

At UPGUYS, Daniel dispenses and counsels patients on testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction, hair loss, and premature ejaculation, by phone and secure message.
