No, you don’t need to have a prescription before you start the process with Upguys. Part of what we do is connect you with a doctor to decide if a prescription is appropriate for you. If you’re prescribed medication, we are then authorized to fill your prescription and ship it to you.
However, if you already have an active prescription with another pharmacy just let us know and we can transfer it to our pharmacy. You may not need to schedule a call with a doctor through us if this is the case.
Not necessarily. If you already have an active prescription with another pharmacy, just let us know and we will transfer it to our pharmacy. Your family doctor can also fax your prescription to our pharmacy fax number directly (604-291-0827).
Otherwise, we will connect you with a doctor over the phone as soon as possible, and at no charge to you.
Since all conversations between you, the doctor, and the pharmacist occur over the phone or online. As your healthcare provider, Upguys is legally required to verify your identity.
We do this by asking for 2 images which we then compare for verification. One image is of your face (a selfie or headshot), and the other is the image found on any government-issued ID card that shows both your image and date of birth.
There are no hidden fees. You only pay for the cost of the medication IF you are prescribed any, plus a pharmacy dispensing fee of $9. Standard shipping (via Xpresspost) is also free.
We do not charge for doctor consult, handling fees or taxes for prescription medications.
