Dr. Lori Martyn, MD

About

Dr. Lori Martyn is a physician at UPGUYS, registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in the independent practice class since 1991.

She has worked in patient-facing medicine for more than three decades, across emergency and family practice. She completed a rotating internship at a Toronto teaching hospital, then practised family medicine in Ontario with a focus on travel medicine and minor surgical procedures.

For a decade she practised in medical aesthetics across southern Ontario, work that included platelet-rich plasma treatment for hair restoration alongside injectable and skin treatments. She went on to train physicians, nurse practitioners and registered nurses in those procedures.

She has extensive experience practising virtually, assessing and treating patients by telehealth.

She holds a Doctor of Medicine from Queen’s University, where she also completed an undergraduate degree in life sciences, graduating summa cum laude.

At UPGUYS, Lori assesses and prescribes for testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction, hair loss, and premature ejaculation, and consults with patients by phone and online assessment.
