Dr. Richie-Ann Rodriguez, MD, CCFP, is a physician at UPGUYS, licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and certified in family medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Her clinical practice is dedicated exclusively to hair restoration, combining medical, regenerative, and surgical hair restoration care. With more than two decades of medical experience, she evaluates and treats the full spectrum of hair loss disorders, from common pattern hair loss to more complex forms of scarring and non-scarring alopecia.

Dr. Rodriguez is the founder and medical director of Hair Haven, a physician-led hair restoration clinic in British Columbia focused on the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of hair loss. Her practice includes comprehensive medical assessment, evidence-based treatment planning, prescription therapies, regenerative procedures, and long-term management to preserve and restore healthy hair growth.

She also serves as a physician with Hair Transplant Canada, where she provides medical care throughout the surgical hair restoration journey, including preoperative assessment, perioperative physician care, and postoperative medical management to support optimal transplant outcomes.

Dr. Rodriguez is an Associate Member of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). These organizations are dedicated to advancing physician education, research, and standards of care in hair restoration medicine and surgery, helping ensure patients receive treatment informed by current evidence and best practices.

She believes successful hair restoration begins with an accurate diagnosis. Every treatment plan is individualized, addressing the underlying causes of hair loss while aligning treatment with each patient’s goals.

At UPGUYS, Dr. Rodriguez assesses and prescribes for hair loss, and consults with patients in English and Tagalog through virtual assessments.
