About
Jeff Kim is a pharmacist at UPGUYS, registered with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. He has practised as a pharmacist for more than 30 years, almost all of it in community pharmacy.
Jeff spent three decades in British Columbia community pharmacies, working across the full scope of practice: verifying prescriptions and checking dosing and drug interactions before a medication reaches a patient, conducting medication reviews for patients on several therapies at once, adapting and renewing prescriptions, and administering immunizations.
Three decades of dispensing covers a wide span of therapeutic areas and a large number of patients managing long-term conditions. Much of what that builds is judgment about which drug combinations warrant a second look, which side effects lead patients to stop a therapy, and how to explain a regimen clearly enough that someone stays on it.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia.
At UPGUYS, Jeff dispenses and counsels patients on testosterone replacement therapy and erectile dysfunction, by phone and secure message.
