Lydia Brulé, NP

About

Lydia Brulé is a nurse practitioner at UPGUYS, registered with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec, where she holds a specialized nurse practitioner (IPS) certificate in primary care. She has practised in nursing since 2015.

She began her career as a registered nurse in hospital settings in Quebec, working across surgical, cardiology, and long-term care units. She then spent several years in expanded-role nursing in remote Indigenous communities in Nunavik and First Nations territories, often as the first point of care for everything from preventive health to major emergencies, and has also provided in-home mental health care.

As a nurse practitioner, she practises primary care at a community clinic, providing first-line care from minor emergencies to chronic disease management and hormonal health, for patients across the lifespan.

She holds a master’s degree in the nurse practitioner stream, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Université Laval, and additional training in hormone therapy.

At UPGUYS, Lydia assesses and prescribes for testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction, and hair loss, and consults with patients in French and English by phone and online assessment.
