Roger Firsoff, NP

About

Roger Firsoff is a nurse practitioner at UPGUYS, registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the extended class, and licensed with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. He has practised in nursing since 1995, and as a nurse practitioner since 2002.

He spent sixteen years providing primary and urgent care for patients of all ages at a community medical centre in Ontario, and began his nurse practitioner career in the emergency department of a Toronto teaching hospital. He has also worked in occupational and urgent care, and held clinical leadership roles in addiction treatment.

He has taught nurse practitioners for nearly two decades in Ontario’s primary health care nurse practitioner programs, as an instructor in pharmacotherapeutics and advanced health assessment at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) and York University, as a clinical instructor at Athabasca University, and as a guest lecturer in men’s health.

He holds a Master of Nursing from the University of Toronto, where he trained as an acute care nurse practitioner, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a primary health care nurse practitioner certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University.

At UPGUYS, Roger assesses and prescribes for testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction, and hair loss, and consults with patients by phone and online assessment.
