Samson Agbom, NP

About

Samson Agbom is a nurse practitioner at UPGUYS, registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. He holds nurse practitioner registration in three further provinces, with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan, the College of Nurses of New Brunswick, and the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador, and is authorized in primary care. He has practised nursing in Ontario since 2020.

Samson began his career in community and home-based nursing, conducting in-home assessments, managing wound care, and supporting medication adherence and palliative care for medically fragile clients, working alongside physicians, care coordinators, and families to maintain continuity of care.

He went on to work across long-term care and seniors’ settings through the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering bedside nursing, coordinating infection control, and supporting families through end-of-life care. Since 2021 he has worked in residential care, providing direct nursing care and clinical coordination during outbreaks.

He completed the Collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program in the family nurse practitioner stream at the University of Regina, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aspen University. He is a member of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario, the Nurse Practitioners’ Association of Ontario, and the Canadian Black Nurses Association.

At UPGUYS, Samson assesses and prescribes for testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction, and hair loss, and consults with patients by phone and online assessment.
