About
Shafreen Bhanji is a pharmacist at UPGUYS, registered with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. She has practised as a pharmacist for more than 10 years, across community, specialty, and telepharmacy settings.
Shafreen began her career in community pharmacy in British Columbia, working across the full scope of practice: prescription verification, medication reviews, prescription adaptations and renewals, immunization, and patient counselling.
She went on to work in specialty pharmacy, supporting patients on more complex and closely monitored therapies, where counselling, adherence support, and coordination with the prescriber matter as much to the outcome as the medication itself. She has also practised in telepharmacy, delivering that same clinical care remotely rather than over a counter — the model the UPGUYS pharmacy runs on.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia.
At UPGUYS, Shafreen dispenses and counsels patients on testosterone replacement therapy and erectile dysfunction, by phone and secure message.
