About

Ramin Behzadi is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of UPGUYS Health, where he leads the Company’s long-term strategy, corporate development, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives.

Over the past two decades, Ramin has built, advised, invested in, and helped scale technology companies across software, e-commerce, digital marketing, data analytics, and healthcare. Before co-founding UPGUYS, he was a Venture Partner at a Vancouver-based venture capital firm, investing in and advising early-stage technology companies. Earlier in his career, he founded and led several technology ventures and spent many years helping businesses grow through technology and digital strategy.

In 2019, together with co-founder and CEO Mat Rezaei, Ramin co-founded UPGUYS with a simple belief: healthcare should be more accessible, more proactive, and centred around long-term patient relationships rather than episodic treatment. Since then, UPGUYS has grown into one of Canada’s leading men’s health platforms, serving patients nationwide through its vertically integrated model spanning technology, clinical care, and licensed pharmacy operations. He was named a 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Pacific Region finalist.

Today, Ramin is focused on helping shape the Company’s next chapter — evolving UPGUYS from a treatment-focused business into a broader health optimization platform that combines clinical expertise, diagnostics, connected health technologies, and data-driven care to help Canadians take a more proactive approach to their health.

Ramin holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. He believes the most enduring companies are built with patience, disciplined execution, exceptional people, and a relentless focus on creating long-term value for those they serve.
